- This patient presented with his bridge that had broken off.

- The decision was made to remove the broken teeth and replace with an implant supported bridge. During the time spent at the Malo clinic in Portugal, I learnt a cool way dealing with this situation immediately. Normally I would remove the teeth, place the implants and let the patient wear a denture for 4 months.

- Here, we can see that the teeth have been removed, the front implant has been placed and we are about to start placing the back implant.

After the 2 implants have been placed we then take a registration of where they are so that our technicians can make a temporary bridge to insert later that day.

- This is an xray of the 2 implants and the temporary bridge In place.

- The temporary bridge, inserted 2 hours after surgery. This photo was taken 48 hours later at the patient's review appointment. The patient is very happy has not had to wear a denture for 4 months.
